Note to Idiot

Hurray for "almost Friday" day!

Dear guy who drives with his high beams on,

You do realize you're blinding me right?
I'm not flashing my brights at you for fun, I want you to turn your lights down so I won't go careening off the road. Not to mention, there are street lights on this road, so why do you have them on anyway? If you need that much light to drive, maybe you shouldn't drive at night. I feel maybe I should ram into you so that you will understand the consequences of your idiocy.

Turn your high beams off please.
Your fellow driver,
MJ

Note to Self:
I understand having brights when you are in the middle of nowhere, because the dark practically swallows your headlights. But on a busy road? With street lights? SERIOUSLY?

YES!!!! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! They're driving hazards. Great post!

Maybe he wears his sunglasses at night...lol. People like this drive me crazy - no consideration for other people on the road.

I hate the newer cars that have the super bright white regular lights. It seems as though they always have their brights on.

I caught myself last weekend driving the wife's car with its fancy "always-on" headlights on high beam in the middle of the day. Does that mean that I suck?

Hi MJ,

The High Beam Driver is one of those people who remain totally oblivious to the world around them while inside the cozy confines of their car. If you follow one for a while, you will catch them driving for miles with their turn signal on, blocking a lane in the store parking lot for 10 minutes waiting for a close space, and coming to a complete stop in the fast lane of the Interstate to look at a wreck. I suspect it's some form of mental disorder, even though the Government has repeatedly turned down my grant applications to study the subject.

I like to wait until I am just at the hibeam assholes bumper and then blind the shit out of them. I know that it's wrong but it gives me so much satisfaction.

Maki - Oh, you're definitely not the only one!

SS - I don't necessarily think they're being inconsiderate, just oblivious.

Helen - I know! New BMWs have those lights, and I HATE them.

Sornie - Well it was the middle of the day... and you get a special exception because you were unfamiliar with the car...just don't let it happen again :D

SM - Ugh. Same thing happens to me in my little Civic. And it's inevitable that the idiot is driving a tall truck or SUV, so that the light is right in my rearview and right in my face.

Grit - That would be a good study to do. I wonder if these are the same people who turn left at places where you're not supposed to or turn right on red when there's a clear sign not too.

PE - Muahaha!
