A Very Bloggy Christmas

‘Twas the night before Christmas is how I know it should start
But the rest of this mess will be from my head and my heart.
The presents are all wrapped and stuffed under the tree,
One for each of you in this poem, and perhaps one for me.

For Sornie, a hideous sweater about which he can blog
And for the overworked Kweenmama, a gallon of spiked eggnog.
For Danielle, a new computer that she can write on
And for Evyl a restraining order for dancing naked on my lawn.

For the manly Mr. Manly, the most manly thing of all,
A pink plaid shirt with matching shorts, and a gift card to the mall.
For Matt, who’s prob’ly stuck in snow, this year I’m giving you
A trip to warm Jamaica and a great massage for two.

For Konfusion, less confusion, and a long night with your man
For Formerly Fun, some new strips to wax all the legs you can
For Bobbinoggin, some new bobbins, needles, and threads
For VE some new additions to your collection of shrunken heads.

Some sanity for Laurie K and for Mahala too
And a tied up politician for Grit to make all black and blue.
Some shiny things for Alison to add to her Etsy shop
And for Maki a New Year’s wish that the good times never stop

The next present I’m wrapping is a devilish little minion.
This one is for K Trainor and her Ugly Ass Opinion.
For Teeni, some sweet tea like we make way-down-South
And for Annie, chocolate goodies that just melt in your mouth.

For The Vinyl Villager, a much nicer blog review
And for Trailer Park Barbie, a prescription med or two.
For Nanny Goats in Panties, some new panties for her goats
And for Cary, a list of the best of this year’s quotes.

I didn’t forget you Peter, you're here on my list, honey.
But I didn’t know what to get you, so you’ll just get some money.
And Colby it would have been obvious for me to give you llamas,
So this year, I splurged, and I found you some llama pajamas.

And to all the ladies on Police Wives Online,
it has been a wonderful year
So for you gals, nothing but (((HUGS)))
and best wishes and maybe a heartfelt tear.

And there’s still one more gift under there for me,
and I think it is the best
It’s the feeling of knowing how much I am loved
and in my life I am truly blessed.

So for you, dear blog friends and family,
I leave you with this one wish.
I hope you have a joyous New Year
And a very, merry Christmas.

Note to Self: Love y'all. I hope Santa brings you everything you wished for this year. God bless.

Matt, Peter, Mahala, SS, Desiree, Sarah - Thanks for the Christmas wishes. I had a pretty good holiday, and I hope you guys did too!

CM - Yeah, I'm not sure if it is more funny or disturbing...

PE - Well, they won't want to touch you if your nekkid, so the only other option is to shoot you.

LK - I hope you do find some sanity, even if it is a tiny drop in the pool of nuttiness this season.

WC - Why thank you! I hope you enjoy your digital candy. :)

VE - That's very interesting. Me, you, and Colby are obviously on the same wavelength...

Teeni - Festivus, eh? Is that anything like the plant and fruit festivals that the South is so famous for? :D

Maki - Glad you liked it. Meant every word. Happy New Year!

A new approach - something new to consider.

Family members of police officers may not always fully understand or appreciate the daily shift-work of police officers. And perhaps, there is a need for them to gain a deeper insight into the daily events their loved ones encounter. Stories of the Street: Images of the Human Condition addresses these issues through a series of 21 ‘everyday’ stories that occur during routine patrol shifts. The integrity, courage, and compassion of their loved ones responding to daily dispatches will be moving to spouses, parents, and other family members. By the way, where is God in each of these stories? You decide. Re: www.strategicbookpublishing.com/StoriesOfTheStreet.html

I'm finally getting caught up on all my blog reading. Thanks for the spiked eggnog! For a mom/stepmom of six teenagers and one nine-year-old, it will need to be hidden!

Hope your holidays were awesome!
