Ode to My Blog Buddies

When I'm feeling down or bored,
I know just what to do.
I click right on my Blog Roll tab,
And there, I turn to you.

Some of you think chickens are evil,
But that's just the start.
Some are fellow police wives,
And some just have no heart.

One of you likes waxing
And one likes lace pajamas.
One of you is so konfused,
And one of you loves llamas.

One is quite political,
And two give great advice.
Two more are from the boogerwoods,
And one, I think, has lice.

One puts goats in underroos,
And two just like to write.
Two can be real cynical,
And one's been out of sight.

One makes use of common sense,
Another, not so much.
One sweet girl is Japanese!
Another knits a bunch!

One has awesome Monday posts,
And one thinks he's Spiderman.
One gave me a cool gift last week,
and one lists all he can.

So there you are, my blog friends.
When I'm feeling glum,
I just type in your h-t-t-p,
And laughter, here I come!

Love,
MJ

Am I cynical MJ? Am I?

Just because I believe in the inherent evil in mankind and that we're all doomed for the hellish reality that is an Obama administrtion, I don't think that necessarily makes me cynical, does it?

I apperciate being inlcuded in this homage just the same.

Twas cute.

Thanks for the linky love. ;)

I wish I were as talented as you. What a clever idea! Really...how long did it take you to create the poem? It would take me FOREVER to create something like that, and then mine wouldn't be very good either.

Thank GOD I have no common sense. Nice poem. I'm glad it rhymes. I don't trust poems that don't rhyme...

Hi ve,

I'm totally with you on non-rhyming poetry. Really, if it doesn't rhyme, how do you know it's a poem?

To All - Thank you for all of your wonderful comments! I really enjoyed writing this and thought it would be a nice way to say "thanks" for y'all sticking around.

To the chagrin of many, no actual chickens were harmed in the writing of this poem.
