Something long awaited finally comes to fruition tonight...
I never thought I'd be so excited to see the new season of The Shield, but the cop has really gotten me into this show!
I know this show really makes it hard for people to reconcile the differences between real cops and the cops we see in the media, but it does deal with some actual issues that real police officers and police families deal with.
Note to Self: Did you know that it's actually based [loosely] on a real department and its scandalous strike team?

omg! I am soooo excited! My husband and I LOVE this show. Soooo sad that this is the last season! : (
My husband got hooked on the show, I didn't think I'd like it but I'm totally addicted!
Alison - It's a little sad that it's the last season, but I can't imagine how they could keep going... everyone on the show would be killed eventually lol.
del - Agreed. He started me on season one a few months ago. I hated it at first, but once I got to season two, I was hooked...
its an awesome show!
I commented somewhere else, but you should go see Third Watch also. Its based on the NYPD and FDNY first responders, who have the third watch(4-mindnight shift)
very inetersting. The first episode of the series is all about rookies and it HOOKED me!
Oh, LOL - my hubby likes to watch this show - he fell asleep during it last night. Fortunately he recorded it and is catching up on it as I type this.
Teeni - Tell him not to worry, I'm sure they'll replay it this weekend anyway.
