Note to Idiots

Dear man who lives upstairs,

Please stop doing whatever it is you're doing that makes that gawd-awful noise at 6AM. It sounds something akin to a 600lb. man running on a treadmill with tap shoes on. It's obnoxious, and it's keeping me from much needed sleep. If it doesn't stop, I'm going to start shovel-tossing your dog's poo onto your balcony.

Your friendly neighbor,
MJ

Note to Self: Invest in earplugs for next apartment.

Hysterical! I know the feeling. Thank God for homeownership!

Alison - Noooo kidding. My roomie just bought a house, and I am so looking forward to not having the close neighbors.

Oh, gawd- did you move into my old apartment, lol...that sounds like you-know-who!

CM - No, but I'm beginning to think that your you-know-who and my kill-me-now are related.

Unless your next apartment will envelop you tomorrow, it sounds like you need those ear plugs NOW!

I don't think you have actual real world experience of what a 600 lb man running on a tread mill with tap shoes sounds like. Am I right? Hmmm? :D

How do you know it's not ACTUALLY a 600lb man running on a treadmill in tap shoes?

Aren't you being a little discriminatory towards 600lb men who prefer to run in tap shoes?

I'm just sayin...

HAHAHA @ the other MJ.

You have my sympathies. I have never lived in an apartment--mostly because I don't play well with others. I say you marry the cop and buy a house. ;0)

NGIP - I have a pair that I got from an AirSwiss flight. They're a lovely orange pair, but they don't work as well as I expect an industrial pair would.

Livin - No. Only a 300 pound man.

OtherMJ - Perhaps. But if he were really running AND tapping, do you think he would still be 600lbs?

K - I'm working on that.
