Handcuffs

That's what I bought Doug for his birthday. Get your mind out of the gutter, they're for his job.

It's still taking me some time to get used to the fact that he will be a full-blown, mandated cop in about a month. He's still enjoying it a lot - a lot more than I ever thought he would I guess.

Crazy busy at work lately. I wish someone would ask me about my day sometimes. I know my work's not very interesting, but I like to talk about my job, just like everyone else after a long day at work. Crazy busy at work lately, so this blog will be a bit shorter than normal. Lots of end of the year purchasing going on - Christmas gifts, supply stock for next year, etc. I'm also working on quite a few events - November birthday bash, Thanksgiving breakfast, and January's awards banquet.

Along with work, I'm beginning to feel the end-of-semester pinch in my classes. I'm not doing so well in accounting, but it's not like I have time to focus on it! I still have a big group project to do in there, plus a final. I have to do really well on both to get the grade I need though. I'm not really worried about Leadership. If I don't come out of that class with an A, I'll be very surprised.
Getting my Master's is reminding me how much I hate school. Altogether, I'm feeling a little overwhelmed. And a little alone to say the least.

I need a day off.

Note to Self: No one needs a vacation more than the person who just had one.
