NPWA has a new blog! I moved it over to npwablog.blogspot.com. I hope you will run over there every now and then and check out the awesome things going on with NPWA, or even become a follower. I put a handy-dandy new link over in my sidebar for easy access. >>>
Police Week is coming up in the month of May, so I'm challenging my readers to find a way to thank their local law enforcement for all they do. Being a police wife, I see first hand what a thankless job it can be. A simple note of "thanks" makes a huge difference in the self-esteem of our officers.
Or, you can simply donate to or shop at a police related organization. Here are a few:
- The National Law Enforcement Officer's Memorial Fund: www.nleomf.org
- Concerns of Police Survivors: www.nationalcops.org
- The National Police Wives Association: www.nationalpolicewivesassociation.org
- Cops Alive: www.copsalive.com
Note to Self: Personally, I will be supporting my local law enforcement by feeding them. Menu coming soon....

love it,I'm a follower!
one thing I did want to mention is I am unable to comment on the new blog.not sure if others are having the same problem?
Monica: Thanks for the heads-up! I think I have (hopefully) fixed the comment problem :)
My dad was a part-time police officer until he became fire chief and then had to give up being a cop. I will always have a soft spot in my heart for police officers.
Hey MJ- thanks for the link!
