A Teeni Gift

Back in September (I know, I'm way behind!), I won a surprise gift from my good blog pal Teeni for helping her protect her avatar.

Which, if you remember my Pay-It-Forward winning, means that I won two things in one month! That's crazy! I don't think I've ever won anything in my life, and I won two things in one month! Craziness....

Anywho, I waited with anticipation for my gift, and sure enough my patience paid off. Last week I received a nice little package in my mailbox. I had to resist demolishing the packaging, like a kid unwrapping gifts at Christmas, for fear of breaking what was inside.

And there it was. A cute little blue ornament with white lace tatting. It has an adorable teapot charm hanging from it. The picture doesn't do it justice, because I tried to take the picture without flash... (the ball is so shiny, it reflected all the light back at the camera!) so it's a little blurry if you enlarge it at all.

Now little does Teeni (or the rest of you) know that I collect cute little ornaments. Not the Christmas kind, the unique kind, but I do usually hang them on my tree (or doorknobs, keyhooks, or anything else that I can hang something on). Also, little does Teeni (or the rest of you) know that I am going to finally have a Christmas tree this year since the roomie and I will be moving into the house she bought before the holidays.

So this neat little bauble will have a safe, prominent place to hang this year.

Note to Self: Also, some apologies are in order for taking so DANG LONG to get this post up! With the excitement of the engagement and all the busy-ness going on, I have been procrastinating so that I would be able to do a good job of it. So who's next to have me win something on their blog?
