Note to Idiots

This letter is dedicated to the genius who came up with this idea:

Dear inventor of HD Vision Wraparounds,

I applaud your scam-artistry. If you managed to get one drooling idiot to buy even one pair of these horrible things, you were a success. I certainly can't imagine a better idea than to make a pair of ugly-ass sunglasses, suggest they are "European style," claim that they make REAL LIFE become HIGH DEFINITION, and try to pass theses 3-D glasses wannabee pieces-of-crap as something that might actually make life better for the consumer instead of just making them a complete mockery to their peers. I can only hope you spent more on advertising and douchbaggery than your invention has profited you. Here's hoping that the only people buying these are buying them for gag gifts.

Cynically yours,
MJ

Note to Self: Maybe I should have written this one to the people who are buying these things... surely people aren't ACTUALLY buying these things...

I for one do NOT want real life to be HD. I was shocked how, once I got my HDTV, that some stars actually look their age, or GASP, had skin blemishes. I cant imagine having to see everyone that way. Or worse, have them see me that way.

I liked how they had the "patented" HD Visorclip that has been around for over a decade that you can buy anywhere.

VV - Yeah, but I'm not so sure these things actually enhance your eyesight. I'm thinking they just make things change colors...

DB - I know. I remember you having one of those and how bad it sucked. To me that's not really much of a selling point.

um... that girl had yellow laser vision. i think the glasses brainwash you into buying stupider things.

in ny we have a commercial, but they market them as "over your glasses , sunglasses" with annoying long islanders saying how much clearer they see.. uch.

Hi MJ,

Thank you for posting that. We get that commercial and similar ones. Often. It's nice to know that, as I had suspected, we're not being specially targeted because of our extra large population of stupid people.

SM - LOL. I guess they could brainwash you into buying stupider things... like pleather pants...

MM - Oh no. Stupid people are pretty much everywhere...

There is no way this could be the sole work of a genius. I suspect genii.

Livin - Perhaps your right. It probably did take more than one "genius" to think this piece of crap up.

Yeah, who would ever buy that crap... did they happen to give a return address for unsatisfied customers. Just asking... for a friend... or a friend. =P
