I went and saw the movie last night, and it was pretty good!
Me and my roomie really enjoyed it. But we also wish the whole world were like a musical - breaking into song - being able to convey every emotion with a flail of the arms...
Definitely not a guy movie.
Note to Self: My only criticism was that Pierce Brosnan really shouldn't sing...

Was his singing bad? He's really rather cute though. I love it too because his wife in real life is a zaftig, gorgeous but normal looking woman. Judging from his wives(the first died of cancer) he likes the boobies.
Still haven't managed to see it, but I wholeheartedly agree - life should be more like a musical! Everything seems better if you can sing about it.
Oooh, I like colors.
Colors!
Colors!
Lots and lots of colors!
Sorry, no can do. Too much estrogen running around for me. I get enough of that between the kids and I.
Gimme a movie where gladiators are wearing the dresses while swinging swords and I'll be there though. :)
FF - Not really singing bad, it just looked funny. And he is very cute. My roomie and I were discussing the virtues of dating someone twice our age.
D - Oh, you should go see it. Even death seems like fun when you can sing about it!
Livin - *Waves shiny object at Livin*
Look at the pretty shiny!
Now go fetch! *Throws object*
Go get it!
K - Yeah, it is a bit of a girly movie, but it's really funny too.
Mmmmm, men in kilts. With SWORDS.
LOL, thats exactly what I heard.
Good movie but not for men.
a.) pierce shouldn't sing. Ever. There was about ten seconds there where I thought he'd be okay, and then I woke up.
b.) I wish my life was a musical, too. That's why I am in so many of them...it's as close as I'm gonna get.
i want to see this. but i am afraid my tough exterior will be exposed when my friends realise i know ALL. The. WORDS.!
Matt - Exactly.
CM - I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought the Pierce thing.
SM - There's no shame in it! Just don't start dancing in your seat like my roommate did.
this is one of the only plays i've ever seen, which ended up being great... i heard about ol' Pierce taking a stab at singing too, yeeesh, didn't see that coming
