Stereotypes are hilarious!

From ShoeboxBlog:

"Female crash test dummies will be added to test cars in order to obtain more accurate data about auto safety. These new dummies will be smaller, more shapely, and will recite various vocal commands that cause the male dummy drivers to make sudden turns and stops, and eventually drive the test cars right off a damn cliff."

Note to Self: In all seriousness, it is about dang time. I am small enough that being in the driver's seat could seriously injure me if the airbag went off.

Sornie - Right! Hilarious and informative!

Sarah - I'm always afraid to see the plastic surgeon's bill after an airbag hits my face.

Hi mj,

Try being a Southern man and/or a farmer for a while! I happen to qualify for both of the remaining categories which are considered politically correct to publicly mock. I would, however, point out that few dare do so to my face, and no one has done so twice :)

Oh, and at 5'10", I'm considered short for a man. Why this is important, once the ladder was invented, escapes me.

MM - I personally have a thing for Southern boys ; )

I'm pretty short myself - at 5'0" I still get offered the kid's menu. I'm not sure why since I carry around the weight of a C-cup, but what do I know...

I came to your site via Colby's blog - and as a short person, I am happy to hear that they are doing this. Because I have to move my seat ALL the way forward to drive, so if my airbag went off, my head would probably blow off.

KE - Thanks for dropping by. I'm glad someone else understands the frustration of knowing a seat that just won't move up or forward any more.
