Shame

Thank God I do not live within the city limits of Macon, GA. I would rather kill myself than pay taxes to a city where they invite the high and mighty Rev. Al Sharpton to speak.

Shoot me now.

This is the same city where the last mayor, who shall remain nameless, stood up and said "there are no gangs in Macon" while gang violence during his reign as Captain Moron boomed, including homicide, rape, car theft, and destruction of property. This is the same mayor who, after many Baptist churches in the area funded his re-election, made a spectacle of himself on national news by converting to Islam.

This is the same city where my LEO went to the police training center to qualify with HIS gun that HE bought to protect the city, and there was NO AMMO. That's right criminals, go ahead and shoot up Macon, because the police have only two rounds of ammo each until the city council can pull their head out of their asses long enough to approve more bullets for the force.

This is the same city where it has been decided that there needs to be more of a police force presence every day, but has now instated a hiring freeze. That way the already overspread and understaffed PD can be even more so.

Freakin' geniuses I tell you. I'm just glad I don't pay taxes to them. I wouldn't mind helping to pay LEO salaries, but I wouldn't really want to fund the unnecessary retarded-ness of the city along with it. Thanks, but no thanks.

But since we were graced with the presence of Saint Oprah recently, I guess it was only fitting for us to have the biggest racist holy-roller himself, good ol' Al.

Note to Self: I feel nothing but shame. And maybe some pity. But mostly shame.

Maybe I'm just out of it at the moment, or it's been a long day, or something, but what does LEO stand for?

No bullets? Really? That's terrifying. You must worry about your man something fierce. :S

On a more amusing note, that cartoon is a scream!

livin - Law Enforcement Officer.
Sorry, sometimes I forget my audience! Maybe I need a little abbreviation key...

k - I don't worry about him as much as you would think. It has taken me a lot of time and external support to reach that point though. I DIED when I saw that comic the first time lol. Oh, if it were only that easy...

btw, did I ever tell you that nameless mayor actually had a quote in last year's "365 Stupidest Things Ever Said" calendar...I kid you not...I flipped my day, and there it was, his name and "mayor of Macon, GA." I was amazed. I saved it so you can see it sometime, lol.

CM - Somehow, I'm just not surprised. In fact, I'm more surprised that he had only one day devoted to him.
